Manisha is a permaculture practitioner and teacher from India. She has been practicing permaculture for 10 years at Aanandaa Permaculture Farm.
Manisha is a marketer by education and profession, and has worked in large corporations for over two decades. A desire to grow her own food, and save a piece of nature for her family, drove her to convert a barren piece of land into a lush green forest, now called Aanandaa.
Manisha believes that permaculture is not an alternate life. In fact, a permaculture way of life can be pursued by anyone, irrespective of their profession and location. She likes to share her experience and knowledge with those who are looking for a life in sync with nature and want to live more consciously.

Why is the course called MINI PDC and not just PDC course?
The Permaculture Design Certificate Course is a standardised course prescribed by Bill Mollison. In the MINI PDC I have deviated from the PDC and offer a more updated and relevant course which can help you design your permaculture project using modern tools and techniques.
According to me this is a MINI PDC, as the Permaculture Design Certificate Course I will offer, will cover the standardised course material, plus a few detailed sections on Soil building, Water management and Plantation Design which I believe are important to be an expert in this field.
Is this course a live session, or a recorded one?
The MINI PDC has 44 pre recorded video lectures which will be dropped over 4 weeks. You can take the course at a time that suits you, and you can watch the lectures as many times as you like over a minimum of 4 weeks. After completing some specific assignments, you will have to schedule two one-on-one meetings with Manisha to go through your work and discuss your project.

What is the duration of the course?
The duration of the MINI PDC is 4 weeks, and has 4 hours of recorded video lectures along with many other supplementary readings & videos. At the end of the week 2 and week 3 assignments, you will have a one-on-one session with MLG on a video call.
The course has 44 video lectures, some reading material, supplementary videos and exercises.
How is this course different from a Permaculture Design Certificate Course?
This course, is a shorter version of the Permaculture Design Certificate course. If you would ever like to upgrade to take the PDC course, you can do so by simply paying the differential amount.
Do I need some land to take this course?
This course is specifically to design a parcel of land. You may not own it, but you should have access to it to create a masterplan for it. For the purpose of the course, you can consider your backyard, front lawn, community garden or farm to understand the tools and techniques of the permaculture design process.
How long will this course be available to me?
Once you buy this course, you can view the contents unlimited number of times for a period of 1 year. However, you are not allowed to share it, use it for training purposes or copy the material for further circulation. All the material is copyright protected by 'Permaculture with MLG'.
I am not able to pay for the course with my credit/debit card. What should I do?
Our course is hosted on Teachable.com which is a US based platform. If you are based in India, and do not have international transactions activated on your credit or debit card, you may have trouble paying. In such a situation, you can simply UPI (PayTM or GooglePay) the payment to us on 62838 99456 and we will register you for the course from the back end.
